Auckland Live trip-Aotea Centre

Can you believe it!Two weeks ago our school went to Auckland Live at the city.

I got so excited to meet the "amazing" dancers at the town hall. I saw them danced the Maori Moko. Next they created pictures and patterns by their movements. They also taught us some actions of the haka.

Later on I walked to the room where actors practise dancing. After that I went up stairs and I started holding the ipad on the bird house and I saw colourful digital birds flying and some of them were walking around.

Next, I went down stairs and I saw a very big screen with pictures of people on it. I dialled numbers so that I could blow that persons face by huffing thru the speaker of the phone.

Then I started making up a story about the Lion King. And I raised my hands up and "said I chose a king because it is part of the story.

Next we walked to the Herald theatre. It was about saving electricity ,and it was fun. They were pretending falling rocks, and smelly smoke. After the show we had a chance to asked questions.

Then we all walked back to get our bags ,but we had to sit down first and say thank you to the monitors, teachers, actors and parents for teaching us.

Finally we walked back to the bus to school.
