Learning Intention: WALT create and design a book jacket for a book that we have read

Learning Intention: WALT compare and contrast the differences and similarities of two books.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I can give examples of the same and differences of the two books I've read.

Learning Intention: WALT use a PMI chart to explain the interesting, minus and plus information from the interview with Witi Ihimaera.

What is another word for 'said'?

Learning Intention: WALT manufacture different synonyms of the word 'said'.

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I create new words for example: 'Vocalised and spoke'.  

Can you picture a lion that has a purple mane?

Learning intention: We are learning about different reading strategies.

Success criteria: I know I can do this when I explain that visualising is when you can see pictures in your mind when you are reading different kinds of books.

Catching Mustelids

I am learning to create my padlet of catching mustelids and I have worked by myself to create my own Padlet. I learned that Stoats,weasels and Ferreters are all mustelids.

The Tunnel Beach

When you go to the tunnel beach you will see loads of stuff around. Inside the tunnel, is very dark and a bit scary. You had to watch out for the steep steps because you will slip and hit your head, and  you will end up in the hospital.
