Making Patterns 2

I am learning to make an upside down pattern and a straight pattern by using my Google drawing and I used green and purple to make my pattern.

Making patterns 1

 Today I have been learning to use Google draw to create a repeat pattern. I repeated my sun shapes by making sure they were the same size. I used two colours red and pink. On odd lines I used the pattern red,pink,red,pink,red,pink. On even lines I started my pattern by going pink,red,pink,red,pink,red.

Playing Badminton

I was so excited to see Coach Ben and to play badminton.

First, we did warm ups. I was jogging but Vaughan ran. Then we had to walk  by bending and pushing over to the walls. We did more warm ups after that.

Then we sat on the chair. Coach Ben told the girls and boys to get a racket.We learnt how to hold the grip of the racket.Then we all grabbed a shuttle and we started to hit it up and down. 




I had so much fun playing badminton.
Finally we all said thanks to our coach for teaching us how to play badminton.

My best Mum!

I love my mum because she always kisses me when I go to sleep and when I go to school. I love my mum when she lets me play with her friend's niece at their house.

When I am crying she cheers me up, she makes me laugh. She cheers me up when I fall down on the ground. 
My mum is supportive when I perform a dance on stage. She shouts out, "Run fast!" when I am having a race. She tells me,"You can do this" when I am having a chess contest.


I love my mum because she is very special. She is always there for me. She is the best mum in the world.

Learning intention: WALT write a recount.

Saint Patrick's day

Hurray! We celebrated St Patrick's day on Tuesday at our school.

First we went to Mass and we sang some songs. After that seven kids read. Then the mass was finished.

Next, we did Jump jam. We had to move our body and dance to the music.
Then we went back to class to put some sunscreen. When the bell rang , everyone went outside for morning tea.

Next we went in front of Rooms 5 and 4 because we were going to be put in teams. Our team was called Limericks.We had to go to Activity 1 and we had to run with the ball and race. I was good at running fast.

Next, we went to Activity 2 and it was like golf or Hockey.We let the little  kids go first. The little kids were good at golf.

After that went to Activity3 and we had to hop on the hoop and wriggle it around our body. Then we had to get the hockey stick and move the ball around the cones. And we got two extra points.

Then our principal told Issac to ring the bell so we went to Activity 4 and we played Rob The Nest. I went and got the ball from Natalia's group. After that we went to Activity 5 and that was the last game. 
We had to hold the ball and run around the cones. Then you put the ball down and get the small hula hoop and chuck it to the cone to get ten points.

Later on our principal rang the bell because the games was finished .
We came second and Natalia team won first.Then we eat ice block.Finally it was finished.

ANZAC day!

 

Did you know that S.t Patrick's school celebrated ANZAC day? Last Friday near the library we had ANZAC liturgy.

First the room 8 students read the reading while the other students put the symbols under the cross. After that we stood up and sang the National anthem. Later on room 7 read their prayers.

The students from each class pushed their little crosses on the grass to remember the ANZAC people who died. Then room 8 students stick some beautiful poppies on the grass. Finally it was finished and everyone went home.

I know I can do this when I write a recount about ANZAC day celebration.
