What do you think flight will be like in 50 years?
Learning intention: We are learning about flight. Success criteria: I know I can do this when I use the Alphabet Key to find words that are related to flight.
I hope that you are having a lovely summer so far. I really enjoyed reading your blog post about flight. It reminded me of a free programme that many of our Manaiakalani school students are completing over the summer about flight and flying. The programme is called a Summer Learning Journey and it's all about flying to a new country and learning about the people who live there, the foods that they eat, the traditions/customs that they have, the kind of entertainment that they listen to, their holidays and festivals, etc.
If you are interesting in learning a bit about the world and earning some points and cool prizes, please join the Summer Learning Journey programme. To join, simply log onto the Summer Learning Journey website, click on the 'Register' tab and fill in the form. Once you've submitted it you can go to the 'Weekly Activities' tab and choose from one of the 60 activities on offer. Every time that you complete an activity you will earn points and the more points you get the more likely you are to win a prize!
