Last Friday I played badminton at the hall.
First we had warm ups,and played, Stuck in the mud. And also we ran from one end to the other end of the hall.I was was one of the taggers and Vaughan too.
Secondly we practice hitting the shuttle cock. Coach Ben told us if we are getting used to it we can hit it side by side.
Later on I helped coach Ben to get the nets out.Then we had to go in 6 groups, but I had 5 people in my team. I started hitting the shuttle.
I got 5 points in a row, but when I played against Heneliena I swapped with Hannah. Hannah lost and played against Fulila.
After that I had more 5 points and I was the only one who had the most scores.Some people in my team hit the shuttle cock on the out line.
Finally we thanked coach Ben for teaching us how to play badminton, and went to class to eat our lunch.
I was so excited to see Coach Ben and to play badminton.
First, we did warm ups. I was jogging but Vaughan ran. Then we had to walk by bending and pushing over to the walls. We did more warm ups after that.
Then we sat on the chair. Coach Ben told the girls and boys to get a racket.We learnt how to hold the grip of the racket.Then we all grabbed a shuttle and we started to hit it up and down.
I had so much fun playing badminton.
Finally we all said thanks to our coach for teaching us how to play badminton.

I'm excited!The schools welcome the Waka from Hawaii.
When we got to Point England beach a boy blew a big long Maori horn to welcome them. After that we stood up to performed a haka to them.
Then we sang a Maori song and did the haka again because there were more people coming from the waka. Next, the people from Hawaii sang a song to us. It was a nice song.
Then we stood up to sing Nga Waka e Whitu.Then the student leaders who were standing on the beach placed a necklace on there neck.
After that we all shook hands and gave hi five to the people from Hawaii.
Finally we went back to the bus. I wish we can go again.
Horay! On the new year my dad's cousin invited us to the beach.
First we set the white tent up. Then we set the BBQ with the umbrella. I went under the umbrella to put on some sunscreen to play volley ball. It was so hot, so I waited under the umbrella.
After that it wasn't hot anymore so, I played on the sand with my sister. Then we went to collect shells. Me and my sister built a castle on the sand.
Later on, we all went for a swim.On the water I was paddling. Then we played with the ball. I passed the ball to RJ and then he passed the ball to my cousin,she passed it back to my sister.We got cold in the water so we all got out.
Then mum called us to come and eat.
We all ate Samoan food. I ate chicken,rice and taro. That was delicious.
Finally it was time to go back home. I was tired.
