What are these plants?

Type of plants	Definition
Crucifix Orchid	A crucifix orchid looks like a crucifix or cross when the extra petals reveal its reflection.
Moss	A small flowerless plant that is green and can be seen in and on trees and other typical areas
Aloe Vera	Aloe Vera is also another plant that is flowerless but others say its like a magical plant. The story behind this "Magical Plant" is that the Aloe Vera can heal nearly every injured part on a human. It can also be eaten.
Cactus	A cactus is really spiky and found in desserts.
Bamboo Palm	A bamboo can be like a fragrance spray for your house except its not liquid like other sprays.

Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation and Collection. What do these words mean?

Water Cycle

How is water made?

Water Cycle is a circulation of water made around the world. A water cycle is also a cycle of a step by step process of water being made.

Evaporation:

When evaporation commences, it changes the water from liquid into vapor or steam. Evaporation is also when the sun heats up the water in rivers, lake or oceans and turns it into vapor or steam. The water vapor or steam then leaves the ocean and goes into the air.

Condensation:

After evaporations occur, 'condensation' begins. Condensation is the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid water. Condensation is crucial to the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds.

Precipitation:

Precipitation now begins. Precipitation occurs when so much water has condensed that the air cannot hold it anymore. Soon the clouds get heavy and water falls back to the earth in the form of rain, hail, sleet or snow.

Collection:

When water falls back to earth as precipitation, it may fall back in the oceans, lakes or rivers or it may end up on land. When it ends up on land, it will either soak into the earth and become part of the “groundwater” that plants and animals use to drink or it may run over the soil and collect in the oceans, lakes or rivers where the cycle starts all over again.

Conclusion:

When water vapor cools, it becomes liquid water. Precipitation is water that falls to Earth as rain, snow, sleet, or hail. The Water Cycle is the movement of water from Earth's surface into the air and back to Earth repeatedly.

My name is Punipuao and I live with a family who have always cared for me. I would love to play in a netball club and become a great and physical player. One of my most favourite hobbies are playing soccer but mostly eating pizza and KFC. I love the movie 'The Three Wise Cousins' because it's funny and it part of my culture. I am proud to be a Samoan because I love our traditions and performances. I love going to school because I always like to be fed with learning by my enthusiastic, funny, intelligent and cool teacher Mr. Bell.

What do when a earthquake hits-2

                                                        Today I have learnt that another safe way when an earthquake hits you have to hide under a safe door frame. Miss Paton took some photos of Vaughan under the door frame.  

What to do when a Earthquake hits

                                                        Today we have been discussing what to do in an earthquake. The safest options are to Drop,Cover                and Hold. In a class Miss Paton took photo of us while we Dropped,Cover and hold.
